Come With A Better Offer If You Want Shafiu – Manager Of Striker Tells Kotoko

Ebo Kwaitoo, the manager for Shafiu Mumuni has indicated that Asante Kotoko will need to present a better offer if they really want to sign the highly-rated striker.

In the last few weeks, the club had reportedly been in talks to secure the services of Ugandan forward Stephen Mukwala.

However, following the breakdown of talks, the Porcupine Warriors club has now turned attention to signing former Ashanti Gold SC attacker Shafiu Mumuni.

Speaking in an interview today, the manager of the striker, Ebo Kwaitoo has opened up on what it will take for the Reds to sign his client.

“We held talks sometime back and informed them we have options in Europe, North Africa, and Asia and as far as we are concerned nothing has changed, we are still focused.

“If Kotoko still has interest in him to convince him to play then they have to come with a better offer that supersedes our expectations as compared to the foreign ones”, Ebo Kwaitoo told Kumasi FM.

The manager of Shafiu further revealed that there are offers from clubs in Greece, Asia, and North Africa for the services of Shafiu Mumuni.
