The new Ghana Football Association (GFA) is marking exactly 1 year today since they assumed office after the election at an electoral Congress.

At an electoral Congress at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra, Kurt Okraku and an Executive Council were sworn into office to serve a term of 4 years exactly 365 days ago.

Looking back in time, the Ghana FA has through a post on its Twitter page today expressed appreciation to all stakeholders for the support.

Meanwhile, they are calling on the entire football fraternity and stakeholders to continue to join hands to raise the Ghana Football Industry.

“Exactly a year ago today, the new Executive Council, led by President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku was sworn into office to begin a four-year mandate.

“Today marks exactly 365 days since they took office. We would like to thank you for being an essential part of this journey. Let's come together and build a winning industry for the good of all.

“Ghana football will rise again!”, an anniversary statement from the Ghana FA has said today.
