Coach Michael Osei has indicated that he was given a brand new Land Cruiser and a 6-bedroom house when he was appointed as the head coach for Star Madrid FC.
The former Asante Kotoko player joined the Division One League clubs as the head coach in 2018 after partying ways with Ghana Premier League outfit, Liberty Professionals.
Recounting how he ended up taking over as head coach for Star Madrid FC, Coach Michael Osei has opened up on the goodies that came along when he concluded talks with the owner of the team, Nana Appiah Mensah [NAM1].
“It was unfortunate that shortly after I joined [Star Madrid] he [NAM1] went into that crisis. But I decided that based on the things he did for me when I joined the team, the facilities he made available, I will not leave. He is one person when I joined the team he gave me a brand new Land Cruiser, a 6-bedroom house where I stay with my family”, .coach Michael Osei said in an interview with Accra FM.
In the midst of the problems of Nana Appiah Mensah and the inconsistencies of the Ghanaian football calendar in the past 2 years, the gaffer has stuck with Star Madrid FC and will be in the dugout for the team when the 2020/2021 Division One League season commences.
