Medeama Sporting Club (SC) has completed the signing of former New Edubiase United striker Adam Abdul Basit to give them a squad boost ahead of the next football season.
The Tarkwa-based club has been denied the chance of winning the Ghana Premier League title in the last two seasons where they appeared favorites for the title.
Unfortunately, circumstances beyond their control have always forced the cancelation of the football season in the country.
Just last season, the team looked strong and sat 2nd on the standings of the Premier League before the Coronavirus pandemic forced the cancelation of the season.
Ahead of the start of the 2020/2021 football season, Medeama SC is not relenting but wants to have a good squad to stage another fight for the enviable title.
They have hence wrapped up the signing of striker Adam Abdul Basit on a free transfer.
The forward outrightly replaces Nana Kofi Babil who has been sent on loan to Austrian side SC Altach.
