The players and officials of Hearts of Oak are set to undergo testing for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease at the renowned Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR).

Ahead of the start of the 2020/2021 Ghanaian football season, all clubs are required to test its players and officials for the deadly disease before group training commences.

Already, some clubs including Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities FC have followed through with players already training in preparation for the upcoming football season.

According to a report by Oyerepa FM, Hearts of Oak will be collaborating with the Noguchi Medical Research Institute to conduct the Covid-19 test for its players and officials.

The Kumasi-based Radio station reports that the club is waiting for the arrival of Danjuma Ademola Kuti and Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali to do the test for the team in full.

Meanwhile, the available Hearts of Oak players have trained at the gym and beach in the past week to build on their fitness.
