The head coach for Hearts of Oak, Edward Nii Odoom has indicated that his club will win the Ghana Premier League title in the upcoming 2020/2021 football season.
Nicknamed the Phobians, the Accra-based club has failed to win the enviable domestic trophy in the last decade.
Ahead of the next football season, Coach Edward Nii Odoom says he is confident of leading Hearts of Oak to break the jinx.
“Since we started the beach and gym work, their attitude is very perfect. Hearts of Oak will win the 2020/20 Ghana Premier League. We are going to break the jinx that has eluded us for the past ten years”, the coach said in an interview with GTV.
During the 2019/2020 football season, the Rainbow club had a roller-coaster campaign where they gradually found their rhythm in the weeks leading to the cancelation of the season.
The club has made a few additions and is hoping to finally get their hands on the GPL title at the end of next season.
