Mali Named Strong Squad For Ghana Friendly Next Month

The head coach for the Mali senior national team, Mohammed Mogassouba has named a very strong team for their upcoming friendly encounter against Ghana in October.

With the Group Stage of the qualifiers to the next Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament set to continue in November, countries are gearing up for international friendly games next month.

Following successful talks, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and its counterpart from Mali have agreed to stage a friendly game for their national teams on October 9 in Turkey.

Last Friday, the head coach for the Black Stars team, C.K Akonnor named a 23-man squad for the upcoming game.

Today, head coach for the Eagles of Mali, Mohammed Mogassouba has also named his squad for the friendly clash.

The strong squad of 31 players is dominated by players playing their football in Europe’s top league.
