English Premier League outfit, Leicester City have tied down Ghanaian youngster Kamal Sowah to a long term contract, an official announcement has disclosed.

The midfielder joined the club in 2018 from Right to Dream Academy and has since significantly developed his game.

Following a successful loan spell at OH Leuven in Belgium where he made 29 appearances and helped the team to gain promotion to the Belgian Pro League, Leicester City has decided to give Kamal Sowah a long-term contract.

“Talented young midfielder Kamal Sowah has signed a new long-term deal with Leicester City Football Club”, an official announcement from the English Premier League club has said today.

This season, the 20-year old remains on loan at OH Leuven and has already scored 1 goal after making 6 appearances for the team in the Belgian Pro League.

The Foxes look to have confidence in the young midfielder and could give him a chance in the first team next season if he continues to impress throughout the ongoing football season.
