New Ashanti Gold SC defender, Empem Dacosta has set his sight on helping the club reach the money zone of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The center-back who can play as a full-back completed his move to the Obuasi-based club on Tuesday evening following successful talks.
The 22-year old has inked a 3-year deal after recently terminating his contract with Ghana Premier League record holders, Asante Kotoko.
Speaking to SPORTSworldGhana, Empem Dacosta has expressed his joy in joining Ashanti Gold.
“I am very happy to join the Miners because it a big club with great achievements and I feel at home after inking pen to paper”, he said.
The former Karela United man hopes to add the needed quality to the Miners team and says he is hoping to help the club reach the group stage of the next edition of the CAF Confederations Cup.
“My target is to help qualify the team to money zone and also work hard to show my talent and please the supporters of the club”, the defender concluded.
