Asante Kotoko To Resume Camping September 23 Ahead Of 2020/21 Football Season

Asante Kotoko are set to resume camping on Wednesday 23rd September, 2020 ahead of the new football season.

The Ghana Football Association [GFA] have been given the clearance by President Akufo Addo to resume football on October 30 after six months of no football due to coronavirus outbreak.

However, Asante Kotoko have communicated to their players to resume camping ahead of their 2020/21 Caf Champions League and Ghana Premier League campaign.

The players will go through mandatory COVID-19 test before they will commence training at the Adako Jachie training grounds.

The Executive Council at their meeting on June 30, 2020, decided that per the relevant provisions of the CAF inter-club football Regulations, Asante Kotoko SC and AshGold SC will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League and the Confederations Cup respectively.

The preliminary round of matches of CAF inter-club competitions will kick-off from 27th November.

However, first registration period will start from 21st October to 10th November, 2020.
