THE Professional League Board (PLB), has fined Accra Great Olympics an amount of ¢1 million for an act committed by a player of the club, Dan Akrofi in their third week Premier League clash against Feyenoord.

Akrofi was sent off in the 46th minute of the game which Olympics won 1-0 for a dangerous tackle he unleashed on a player of Feyenoord. The decision to fine the player was in line with Article 39 (6b) of the rules and regulations that governs the administration of the game.

Additionally, the player would miss four premier league matches including the one in which he was sent off.

New entrants, Gamba All Blacks have been referred to the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the involvement of their supporters in unsporting acts before their match against Berekum Arsenal.

Reports indicated that players of the visitors were harassed at the entrance of the stadium by supporters of All Blacks, an act the PLB found unacceptable.

And for scoring the first hat-trick of this year's premiership, against King Faisal, Michael Helegbe of Liberty Professionals was presented with the game ball after the match.
