The Ghana senior national team, the Black Stars will play a friendly game against its counterpart from Algeria next month, information reaching Modernghana Sports has revealed.

The Black Stars are scheduled to continue the qualifiers to the next Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in November where the team is billed to take on Sudan in a double-header clash.

To help the team adequately prepare, Accra-based Angel FM is reporting that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has agreed to a friendly game against Africa Champions Algeria.

The planned friendly game will be played in October and is likely to be staged in Turkey.

The Ghana FA will soon announce details of the planned friendly game including the date and confirmation of the venue.

Meanwhile, talks are also said to be ongoing for a friendly match between Ghana and Mali.

The Black Stars have already won 2 matches in the Group stage qualifiers to the next AFCON. If the team picks maximum points from the double-header against Sudan, the team will be on course to progressing to the final stage of the qualifiers.
