In the last 12 hours, several media reports in Ghana has suggested that the lethal striker has signed for the Still Believe club on the back of successful negotiations to bolster their squad.
In a reaction to the news, Shafiu Mumuni has stressed that he has not even had talks with any official of the Dawu-based club.
“It's not true, I have not spoken to anyone at Dreams. There are suitors from France, Spain, and Portugal, and in Ghana Kotoko is also around.
“It's not true am joining Dreams FC”, striker Shafiu Mumuni said in an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
The forward captained the Black Stars B team last year when they participated in the WAFU Championship.
Following an outstanding performance, he has been linked with moves to several clubs this year. Unfortunately, neither the transfer abroad not the interest from Asante Kotoko has produced anything concrete.
He has recently parted ways with Obuasi Ashanti Gold SC and is a now a free agent.
