Hearts of Oak striker, Kofi Kordzi will hold crunch talks with the board of the club amid interest from Qatari outfit Al-Sailiya, Modernghana Sports can report.
The strong forward has been in the news in the last 72 hours after news broke that the Qatari club had contacted the Phobians over a possible signing in the ongoing transfer window.
Following several revelations by officials of the club seeking to make clarifications with regards to details of the interest, the striker is now set to have a meeting with the board of the club.
Speaking to Kumasi FM in an interview, Kofi Kordzi has revealed that he is aware Hearts of Oak is in talks with the agents. According to him, the club has already planned to meet him on Thursday, September 10, 2020.
“Hearts management has not told me they will not let me leave the club for my new offer. The board is in constant negotiations with the agents”, the attacker disclosed.
“There will be a showdown talk with the board on Thursday”, Kofi Kordzi added.
Last season, the forward played in all 14 games of Hearts of Oak before the Ghana Premier League season was unfortunately canceled as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
With his 6 goals, Kofi Kordzi ended the campaign as the top-scorer of the Phobians. Currently a key player of the club, they have slapped a transfer fee of $200,000 on his head plus a 20% share of any future transfer.
