Communications Director for Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has debunked talks linking the club with the possible signing of defender Eric Donkor.
Ongoing speculations in the media have it that the Phobians are in the market for a left-back and have already started talks with the defender who recently parted ways with Ashanti Gold SC.
In an interview with Pure FM, Opare Addo has set the record straight while emphasizing that Hearts of Oak has not contacted the player for any negotiations.
“Hearts of Oak have not contacted Eric Donkor for any negotiation. We have two natural left-backs in the person of Raddy Ovouka, William Denkyi.
“Robert Addo Sowah can also play the left-back. We will go for a left-back when one of these players is out of the club- Opare Addo”, the Communications Director of the Phobians said.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak could lose striker Kofi Kordzi in the ongoing transfer window with Qatari club Al-Sailiya SC chasing the signature of the strong forward.
