Ghanaian defender, Abdul Mumin has vowed to give his best at Vitória de Guimarães.

The 21-year-old joined the Portuguese side this summer on a four-year deal as a free agent after leaving Danish side FC Nordsjælland in June.

With Vitória de Guimarães set to kick off their 2020/21 season with a home game against Belenenses at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques, Mumin is relishing a good debut season with the club pledging to give his best for the club.

"All I can do is to help in all aspect, I believe, on the pitch and off the pitch I just try and give my maximum best to help the club to achieve their goal.

“I’m good on the ball, I’m aggressive, I like to give my best for the team so if the team is doing well then I’m happy,” he added.

Mumin had a great 2019-20 season in Denmark where he made 26 league appearances and scored a goal.

He has been tipped to become one of the best African defenders in the world following his progress over the years.

Mumin had offers from the Premier League side Sheffield United and Monaco in France, but due to his preference of regular playing time, he decided to sign for Guimarães.
