The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has through a letter to Asante Kotoko SC and Ashanti Gold SC requested their confirmation to participate in the next edition of CAF’s inter-club competition.
CAF has through a letter to its member association asked for the submission of names of clubs that will be representing the various countries in the 2020/2021 CAF Total Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup respectively.
Subsequently, engagement and registration for the 2020/2021 CAF interclub competition was opened on September 1, 2020. The process is set to remain open until October 20, 2020, where it will be closed.
In line with that, the GFA which on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, took a decision to select Asante Kotoko SC and AshantiGold SC to represent Ghana in next season’s competition has written to the clubs to confirm whether they are willing to participate or not.
The GFA has given the two teams up to Friday, September 11, 2020, to give them feedback.
