The Chief Executive Officer [CEO] of AshantiGold SC, Emmanuel Frimpong is convinced the club have what it takes to make the country proud in the Caf Confederations Cup next season.
The Miners have been given the nod to participate in the Caf Confederations Cup next season by the Exeutive Council of the Ghana Football Association following the truncation of the 2019/20 domestic football season due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
With many questioning their squad depth, the young football administrator is convinced they have what it takes to make the country proud.
"We are going to Africa and come back with victory," he told Kumasi based Sikka FM.
"I am convinced about that. The supporters will understand what we are doing when football fully resumes.
"I am imploring them to support us and we will make them and teh country proud," he added.
Ashgold recently underwent a Covid-19 test as they begin preparations for their Africa campaign.
