Ghana international, Patrick Twumasi is reportedly on the verge of sealing a transfer to German lower-tier club Hannover 96.
The 26-year old forward joined Spanish La Liga club Deportivo Alaves in 2018 from Astana but has since not been able to cement a place in the first team.
In the last season, the winger was sent out on loan to Turkish Super Lig club Gazişehir Gaziantep to ensure he gets to play regularly.
After excelling and establishing himself as the team’s best player for the 2019/2020 football season, Patrick Twumasi has returned to Alaves with a lot of clubs chasing after his signature.
In the ongoing transfer window, sources are reporting that the resourceful winger has agreed to terms with Hannover 96 over a transfer this summer.
It is understood that Deportivo Alaves has agreed to the offer of the German club with the deal just waiting to happen after the player undergoes a mandatory medical examination.
Last season, Twumasi scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists after making 26 appearances for Gazişehir Gaziantep.
