Ghanaian international, Mohammed Salisu has been handed jersey number 22 at his new club side, Southampton.
Salisu joined The Saints from Real Valladolid for a reported £10.9 million this summer following his impressive season.
The 21-year-old made 31 appearances for Real Valladolid last season, helping his side finish 13th, with the La Liga’s 7th best defence.
Salisu is yet to make his debut for the Ghana senior national team, the Black Stars.
