Business mogul, Dr Seth Kwame Boafo has urged the leadership of the Ghana Football Association to put appreciable measures in place by making football in the country very attractive to lure top investors.

The ace businessman who says he intends to return to the football business believes the there are countless business tycoons out there who are ready to invest in their monies in football but want the country’s football governing body to brand the game and make it more appealing to the corporate world.

He believes Ghana football would return to its glory days and compete with other African Leagues when highly-established businessmen in the country finally decide to pump their resources into Football.

"I have invested in football already. I have many players in Europe, but somewhere along the line, I stopped because it was no longer attractive,’’ he told Hello FM.

"However, I’m planning to return back into football now that things are changing. Because it’s a way of creating jobs for the youth. If you are able to help about five players they will also help in putting up jobs and this will lessen the burden on the government.

‘’If they make the football attractive businessmen will rescind their decision. If the head (GFA) is disorganized the tail cannot do anything.

He further noted that some highly-respected personalities in Ghana opted not to continue investing in football because the FA didn’t heed to their advice which was geared at bettering the game.

"If they will take our advice we will bring our money into football again. Businessmen stopped investing in football because the GFA decided not to listen to us.

"Every businessman hopes to get profit from money invested so when you don’t think along that line then you’re not a businessman.

"Now we have a new leader in Kurt Okraku so we are watching from afar. We are praying for him to succeed and hopefully we come back to the game with our money,’’ concluded the business mogul.
