Mr Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer, president of Tema Youth FC has shockingly revealed that he is aware of the people that worked on his presidential disqualification.
The renowned and respected football administrator was disqualified from the 2019 Ghana Football Association presidential race on the grounds of failing to pay 10 percent of a player he transferred.
Osei Palmer is currently seeking justice at the Court of Arbitration for Sports [CAS] after he was disqualified by the Vetting Committee set up by the then Normalisation Committee (NC) last year.
Speaking to Accra based Angel FM, the former Ghana FA Executive Committee member, Osei Kweku Palmer insisted that his disqualification was masterminded by a respectable person in the football fraternity.
“My disqualification from the GFA presidential elections was a grand design to take me out. I know those who wrote the report to disqualify me,” he disclosed.
“It was not from any member of the Normalization Committee,” he insisted.
“A very active respectable person in the football fraternity altered the document,” he ended.
Osei Palmer has paid 22,000 Swiss francs and also pay on behalf of the GFA to CAS to file his case.
Meanwhile, the final ruling will be announced on September 1.
