Former Ghana midfielder, Mohammed Gargo beleives the Premier League is a bigger platform for Thomas Partey adding that joining Arsenal will make him a better player.

The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been constantly linked to Arsenal this summer.

With two years left on Partey's contract with a release clause of 50 million euro, Arsenal must trigger the clause to be able to get the service of the 27-year-old.

With many urging Partey to stay with Atletico, Gargo says the Premier League offers a bigger platform for the dynamic midfielder to prove his doubters wrong.

“I think he should move,” he told Citi FM.

“I think it’s going to make him a quicker player than he is today.

“Who would want to move from class three to class two instead of going to class four?

“Moving to Arsenal is going to give him another opportunity to take him a step forward, it is going to build him up and make him a better player for the Black Stars.

“So for me, if I were to be him, I would take this offer,” he concluded.

Partey is currently on holidays in Spain.
