Aduana Stars midfielder, Elvis Opoku has indicated that his focus now is on earning a transfer to play abroad.
The 27-year signed a 3-year contract extension with the Dormaa-based club in 2017 and has since established himself as one of the top players in the Ghanaian top-flight league.
With his current contract with the Ogya club reportedly left with just 4 months to expire, Elvis Opoku is now eyeing a move abroad to continue his career.
“Many clubs have expressed interest in me, but my sight is on getting a foreign offer than local. Some clubs have contacted me but they want my contract to expire before we conclude everything”, he said in an interview with Kumasi-based Hello FM.
Last season, Elvis Opoku played a key role for Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League where he played in 14 matches before the campaign had to be suspended and subsequently canceled as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.
