Explosive forward Solomon Asante continued his fine form on Sunday morning as he scored and provided an assist in Phoenix Rising FC’s 3-3 draw against Las Vegas Lights in the USL Championship.

The Ghana international has displayed an outstanding form for his team since the campaign started and deservedly earned a starting role earlier today when they made the trip to the Cashman Field.

After just 5 minutes of play, the pacey forward assisted Rüfət Dadaşov for Phoenix Rising FC’s opening goal.

That equalizer separated the two teams at the break before Junior Flemmings netted a 2nd for the away team in the second half on the 68th minute.

An improved performance from Las Vegas Lights from there on put them on the path of a comeback. On the 80th minute mark, the home team scored through Yamikani Chester to half the deficit.

Although Solomon Asante scored on the 90th minute, goals in added time courtesy an AJ Cochran's own goal plus a strike from Ramon Martin Del Campo ensured that the game ended 3-3.

The Ghana winger finished the match with a high rating of 8.9 [from SofaScore], making him the best player on the day.

The Phoenix Rising FC captain now has 6 goals and 8 assists after making 9 appearances in the USL this season.
