Ghana striker, Raphael Dwamena has scored on his Vejle Boldklub debut today in the team’s 4-3 defeat to Viborg in a pre-season friendly match.
The former FC Zürich hitman joined the Danish Superliga club last Thursday in a move that saw him moving from Spanish La Liga outfit UD Levante.
Having trained with the team in the last couple of days, Raphael Dwamena has today made his first bow in the colours of Vejle Boldklub.
His manager Constantin Galca introduced him into today’s encounter in the second half when they were trailing 4-1 from the first half.
The Ghana striker who appeared in good shape and comfortable with the play of his new team quickly announced his presence with a fine goal on the 66th minute.
Two minutes later, he played a key role in Vejle Boldklub netting the 3rd goal as Saeid Ezzatollahi also registered his name on the scoresheet.
At the end of the 90 minutes at the Vejle Stadium Raphael Dwamena and his new club lost 4-3 to Viborg.
The 24-year old forward will hope to score more in the remaining pre-season games to build on his confidence before the start of the 2020/2021 Danish Superliga season.
