Maxwell Konadi will lead Asante Kotoko to win trophies, says board member, Alhaji Abu Lamin.
The former Black Stars assistant coach joined the Porcupine Warriors on December 2019 replacing Kjetil Zachariassen on a three-year deal.
However, Abu Lamin believes the former Wa All Stars gaffer will lead the club to win major trophies.
“Maxwell Konadu played for Kotoko, coached the club and left and he is now back,” he told Asempa FM.
“I have no doubt about his competence. He has done well with the national team and we saw how he was performing before the truncation of the league.
“Maxwell Konadu is a fine coach with rich experience and I believe he will lead the club to win trophies,” he added.
Konadu led the club to clinch the 22nd Premier League title in 2012.
Kotoko were occupying the 3rd position with 25 points before the truncation of the 2019/20 football season due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
