Experienced Ghana football coach, Francis Oti Akenteng has expressed his readiness to work for Asante Kotoko as the club’s Technical Director.
The Porcupine Warriors club in the past five months has been restructuring affairs at the club. The appointment of a 12-member board of directors has been followed by the dissolving of a management team.
Just a few weeks ago, the club has also appointed a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the person of Nana Yaw Amponsah. It is now understood that the Premier League giants are in search of a technical director as well.
Among many names that are being thrown around, reports indicate that Coach Oti Akenteng is high on the preferred candidates' list,.
Speaking on his link to become the next technical director of Kotoko, Oti Akenteng says he will be very happy to take up the role.
“I will be happy to join Kotoko. I’m now home after my contract with the Ghana FA ended so I’m ready to help them with my experience gained in football”, he said in an interview as quoted by footballghana.com.
Coach Francis Oti Akenteng last worked for the Ghana Football Association (GFA). He was the technical director of the association for more than a decade before he was relieved of his position earlier this year when his contract elapsed.
