Ghanaian forward, Joseph Esso has attracted interest from an unnamed Serbian top-flight club after partying ways with Accra Hearts of Oak last week.

The Ghana Premier League giants last Friday, August 7, 2020, announced via Twitter that they have severed ties with the attacker on the back of failed contract extension talks.

Information picked up by Hearts of Oak today is indicating that Joseph Esso could be heading to Serbia in the ongoing summer transfer window.

It is understood that the player has been monitored by the top-flight club from Serbia for some time now and is ready to secure his services for the next football season.

The attacker severed ties with the Phobians as one of their best players from the past 2 years.

In the recently canceled Ghana Premier League season, Esso made 14 appearances for Hearts of Oak and managed to score 3 goals.

The 23-year-old who formerly played for Ebusua Dwarfs is now a free agent and reportedly likely to move to Europe before the summer transfer window shuts.
