Hamza Mohammed of Real Tamale United (RTU), one of the respected players on the local scene and 19 other players have been summoned with their respective Clubs to appear before the Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday, August 10.
A statement signed by Mr Edward Bawa, Administrative Officer of the GFA asked the invited players and the Clubs to endeavour to attend the Committee's hearing or their failure to do so will result in the case being struck out.
The other players are Dennis Amoaku and Mohammed Moro (Real Sportive) Abedi Sarfo and Boama David (B.A. United), Daniel Kwakwa (Asante Kotoko) Feloc Nelson (Silver Stars), Mustapha Ali Acquah (Maxbees FC), Joseph Masiri (Heart of Lions), Francis Darko (Gamba All Blacks).
The others are Felix Amoo (Great Mariners), Ebo Mensah (Power FC) Godfred Yartey (Sekondi Hasaacas), Ofori Noah (Afriyie Stars), Kwabena Frimpong (Bibiani Goldstars), Floyd Kotey (Midtylland) Ashirifi Boadu Eric (Zurak FC) Razak Alhassan (Fauzan) Michael Addai (Bofoakwa) and Kwesi Amando (Ofei Youndsters).
