Ghanaian international Bernard Tekpetey has indicated that he will have no problem adapting to life at his new club, Ludogorets Razgrad.
The 22-year-old has been signed on a 2-year loan deal from German Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 ahead of the 2020/2021 football season.
Following his official unveiling today, Bernard Tekpetey has noted that he will easily adapt to the new environment.
“I am thankful for the warm welcome. My first impression from the club is amazing. I won’t have any problems with adapting to the new environment. I know Cauly and I hope I reach my goals here”, he said at a press conference.
Speaking on why he joined the Bulgarian giants, the forward shared that the fact that the club is always competition in Uefa’s inter-club competitions motivated him.
“Everything I’ve heard about Ludogorets so far made me choose this club. They play good football and they are always part of the Champions League and Europa League, too. This is important for every player who wants to develop his career”, said Tekpetey.
He continued, “It is different compared to the Bundesliga but my first impression is that training is on a high level here. The coach wants us to create more attacks. I was happy to see the players so motivated to play for the win. I am also glad to be part of a club with such ambition. I need to work hard and that is the most important thing. This way, I will reach my goals”.
