Nigerian international, Danjuma Ademola Kuti has said he is amazed at the lack of facilities at Hearts of Oak after joining the club.

The striker joined the Ghana Premier League giants on a two-year deal on a free transfer in May.

And according to him, the facilities available at the club don't match its name in African Football.

“I have heard of the new project [Pobiman] ongoing, it will help a lot because most times I like using Gym centre, I like doing a lot of flexibility training so it’s very important to be more professional just that I was surprised,” told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.

“You know Hearts of Oak is a very big club and I felt there will be a lot of facilities. I know they are very professional but I expected more,” he added.

The club is currently constructing a modern facility worth Gh¢ 4.5 million at Pobiman.

The groundworks of the Academy Project has started by Ghanaian based real estate company, K.A Estate Limited under the supervision of Turkish construction firm Prefabex.

The Pobiman Academy Project will be completed with the structures from Turkish based company Prefabex in the next six months.

When completed, the Pobiman Project will have a Staff Residence, Senior Housing Unit, GYM, Training Centers (Pitches), Laundry, Swimming Pool, Lockers, Toilet Facilities, Kitchen and Dining Hall.
