The national tennis team, the Golden Rackets, will begin their quest for a return to Euro-Africa zone group two of Davis Cup today in Gaborone, Botswana.

The Rackets left Accra last Friday for the eight-nation event with the sworn objective of bringing Ghana out of the lowly zone group three to two.

Number one seed Henry Adjei Darko, who spearheaded the team's last botched attempt to hold onto their zone two slot, told Joy Sports in a pre-departure interview that the Golden Rackets are in fantastic shape to accomplish a successful campaign in Botswana.

For Gunther Darkey who is sure to pick the number two tab again, the Gaborone event might just be his last time in action for the Golden Rackets.

And he plans to make it an honorable swan song.
