Ghanaian youngster, Osman Bukari has been named in the Slovakia Fortuna Liga ‘Team of the Year’ for his scintillating performance while playing for his AS Trencin outfit.
Playing in his second season in Slovakia after joining his club in 2018 from Belgian giants Anderlecht, the winger has been outstanding all season with his attacking quality attracting a lot of interests from top clubs in Europe.
After featuring in 25 league games for AS Trencin, Osman Bukari has managed to provide 7 assists on top of the 10 goals he has scored.
With the season coming to an end, the 21-year-old forward has been named in the Slovak Fortuna Liga ‘Team of the Year’.
He is joined by 7 players from the champions, Slovan Bratislava. There are also 2 players from FC DAC and a player from Zilina as well to complete the best 11 for the season.
In addition to his inclusion on the Slovak Fortuna Liga ‘Team of the Year’, Osman Bukari has also been named as the most productive footballer of the league.
“The most productive footballer of our league for the past season, Osman Bukari from AS Trencin, rightly belongs to the right-winger”, a statement said to confirm the recognition at a ceremony at the Congress Hall in Bratislava over the weekend.
