King Faisal Football Club (FC) could soon appoint George Amoako as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Modernghana Sports can report.

The former Kotoko CEO parted ways with the Ghana Premier League record-holders last month after the newly constituted board of directors took the decision to dissolve the management team of the club.

Now not attached to any club, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Committee member looks to be heading to King Faisal.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Ashh FM, the owner of King Faisal Alhaji Grusah has disclosed ongoing talks to bring on board George Amoako.

“Immediate past Asante Kotoko C.E.O Mr. George Amoako will join King Faisal FC as the club's new CEO for the next season campaign. Talks are ongoing and I can tell you he will join us very soon”, the veteran football administrator said.

If talks go on smoothly, George Amoako’s appointment could be confirmed before the end of July.
