The National Circles Council (NCC) of Asante Kotoko has appointed the Minister for Education, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, and a host of others to serve as patrons for the club.
According to the NCC, this is in fulfillment of their Constitution which requires the appointment of high-profile personalities to serve as patrons for the Group and the club at large.
In all, 12 personalities have been given appointments led by Hon. Mathew Opoku Prempeh together with several high-profile personalities including the Chief Executive Officer of Charge Limited, Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey.
Though a press statement from the NCC, Christopher Demenya who is the chairman of the group has congratulated all the appointees.
“On behalf of the National Council and the National Executive Committee and on my own behalf, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the noble personalities for accepting to be on board with their vast and unparalleled experience to help and Council and beloved club to greater heights”, he said.
