Kotoko Board To Decide Fate Of Management Committee At Next Meeting

Alhaji Lamin, a member of Asante Kotoko’s new board of directors has confirmed that the body will decide the fate of the Management Committee of the club at its next meeting next week.

Manhyia Palace, the seat of Asantehene of Asanteman earlier today inaugurated a 9-member board to serve as the highest decision making body of the club.

Executive Chairman of the club, Dr. Kwame Kyei is chairing the newly constituted board with Mr. Jude Arthur as the vice-president.

Speaking to Opemsuo FM today, Alhaji Lamin who is serving on the board as a member has disclosed that they will decide what happens to the management committee of the club next week.

“The board is yet to determine the fate of the current management. We will decide on that in our next meeting on Thursday”, he said.

The management team of the Porcupine Warriors is made up of George Amoako as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nana Gyembibi Coker as the General Manager and a host of others.

Information gathered indicates that it is likely the team will be dissolved and new faces brought on board.
