Hearts of Oak legend, Amankwah Mireku claims he has equally done what Lionel Messi has done for Barcelona for his former side.
Amankwah began his career with the 19 times Ghana Premier League champions and was the team captain.
The former Viva Karela star served the Phobians from 1997 to 2007.
Amankwah won several laurels with the club.
According to the only thing missing from his trophy cabinet is the FIFA Ballon dOr.
He further cities that he has won all the trophies the Argentine international has also won.
"I have equally done everything Messi has done for Barcelona for Hearts of Oak," he told Kumasi FM.
"Messi has won the Champions League for Barca, he has won the UEFA Super Cup. I have also won the Champions League and the CAF Cup.
"I will not brag but it’s the reality that I can be compared to him (Lionel Messi).
"The only thing he has done better than me is winning the Balon d'Or but the sad reality is whether I can compare myself to him in terms of worth," he added.
