Striker for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, William Opoku Mensah has stressed that he is enjoying his time at the club and hopes to stay for a very long time.

The forward was signed by the Porcupine Warriors club earlier this year in January following his return to the country after partying ways with United States of America outfit Swope Park Rangers.

After spending a few months with the Reds before the football season was suspended as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, William Opoku Mensah has insisted that this is where he wants to be.

Though he admits he misses teaching, the forward says he wants to stay with Kotoko for quite some time to help the club with any of CAF’s inter-club competitions.

“I enjoy teaching, which is why I was able to combine it with football while at Karela. But my focus now is on Kotoko. I want to win either the Champions League or the Confederation Cup with the club”, he said in an interview on the Kotoko Express APP.

William Opoku Mensah continued, “I am enjoying my time here. It is where I want to be. I want to be here for a long time and am ready to give my best".

The former Karela United attacker has made 8 appearances for Kotoko this season and has 2 goals to his name.
