The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has extended their congratulatory message to Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare on her appointment as a member of Kotoko’s new board of directors.
On Thursday, May 28, 2020, a statement from the Manhyia Palace announced that His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has constituted a 9-member board in line with the club licensing board requirement and in fulfillment of obligations under company laws.
While Dr. Kwame Kyei was confirmed as the chairman of the new board of directors, Mr. Jude Arthur has been appointed as his vice.
Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare is one of the other 7 members on the board who will be working together to make the club a viable economic entity with the status as an elite club on the African stage.
In a post from SWAG, they have lauded the Physical Education Specialist on her appointment to serve the Porcupine Warriors family.
“The Sports Writers' Association of Ghana (SWAG), Salute you Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare on the occasion of your appointment as a board member of Asante Kotoko S.C”, SWAG said in a statement on its Twitter page.
Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare is also the head of sports t the Sunyani Technical University (STU).
