I Pray GFA Gives Me The Technical Director Job - Bashir Hayford
Former Black Queens and Asante Kotoko head coach, Bashir Hayford has stressed that he is praying the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will appoint him as the next Technical Director for the body.
The veteran coach has had the privilege of coaching some of the top clubs in the country as well as some of the national teams.
Having recently ended his stint with the Somalia national team, he has applied for the Technical Director Job at the Ghana FA and is now one of 6 shortlisted candidates for the top job.
Speaking in an interview with West FM, Coach Bashir Hayford says he is hoping the leaders of the country’s football governing body will give him the opportunity to serve with his experience.
“I'm praying to God that the Ghana Football Association will give me a chance to serve as a technical director”, he said.
Coach Bashir Hayford continued, “If I get the job, I will be able to meet all the coaches in Ghana as well as National teams and also our Clubs on how to turn things around to develop our football in the country”.
The gaffer has coached the likes of Asante Kotoko, Obuasi Ashanti Gold, Medeama SC, Heart of Lions, and a host of others in the past.
