The Czech Republic have confirmed they will be without striker Milan Baroš as well as target man Jan Koller for their FIFA World Cup Group E game against Ghana on Saturday.
Baroš is still suffering the effects of a foot injury sustained in a pre-tournament friendly on 3 June and has been unable to complete any training sessions with Karel Brückner's squad despite painkilling medication.
Team doctor Petr Krejci said: "We are not able to say whether Baroš will be able to play in Germany. Koller could play in the last 16."
With Koller recovering after straining a hamstring in Monday's 3-0 win against the United States, the Czechs are short of striking options.
