German-born Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng has returned to training with his Besiktas teammates ahead of the possible return of the Turkish Super Lig next month.
The forward joined the Black and White club in the winter transfer window for a 6-month loan spell from Italian Serie A side Fiorentina.
Having started very strongly after netting 2 goals in 6 appearances, the brakes were put on his form as the season was suspended due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.
With an improvement in the crisis in the country, authorities have given the clear for clubs to resume training as they look forward to completing the season.
KP Boateng who was recalled from Italy was put under quarantine for a 14-day mandatory period. Following the completion of the quarantine on the back of testing negative to the Covid-19, the attacker has been allowed to resume training at Besiktas.
He has been pictured with his teammates today and will continue training to try and get back to full fitness before the Turkish Super Lig makes a return next month.
Meanwhile, he is expected to meet officials of the club this week to finalize a deal that could upgrade his loan stint to a permanent stay.
