Ashanti Gold defender, Richard Osei Agyemang has called on supporters of the club to rally behind new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the club Emmanuel Frimpong to help him succeed.
Emmanuel Frimpong, son of the club’s majority shareholder Dr. Kwaku Frimpong was handed the CEO role at the beginning of May as he replaced Frederick Acheampong who resigned from that position.
According to Richard Osei Agyemang, the young CEO will need the backing of the supporters if he is to succeed. He is hence pleading with all followers of the Miners to always offer their support.
“It will be prudent for the fans to support our CEO because it will affect him if fans decide not to rally behind him.
“So I will plead with the fans to be behind him always”, Emmanuel Osei Agyemang told Angel FM’s Don Summer in an interview.
Meanwhile, Ashanti Gold has also constituted a new board which is being chaired by Dr. Kwaku Frimpong and Nana Achiken as his deputy.
