Its an election year

POEM BY ROBERT CHIREBOAH-ANSAH
IT'S AN ELECTION YEAR
It's an election year,
Let every ear hear,
The good words of peace,
That touches every bitter piece.
It's an election year,
Let every eye see,
That oneness will cross the sea,
Of darkness and sorrow.
It's an election year,
Let every brain understand,
That once we all together stand,
Our nation will be strong.
It's an election year,
Let every mouth call,
That the Almighty shall fall,
Eternal showers of grace.
It's an election year,
Let every politician learn,
That their patience will help us earn,
A fair and successful process. It's an election year,
We shall soon be voting,
And as we keep on noting,
The Lord shall appoint His chosen.
