God bless our homeland Ghana
the beacon of hope and freedom
in solemnity lift high the banner
glorious rebirth ancient kingdom

great love and toil your foundation
through thin and thorn the race won
the earth acclaimed commendation
heralding today a bright star is born

Land of my birth I'm proud of thee
always to lift high the Ghana's flag
O! the red, gold and green now I see
the black star shines not wane nor sag

Land of true liberty and justice be
the nucleus stage apt Africa's unity
spirit of fraternity as wide as the sea
true freedom is yoked within amity

kin and kith sharing we are so blest
Almoravids, no envy our oil or gold
God bless us no one curse our crest
land of milk, honey is meek but bold

O! Great nation entrenched on God
guide our noble cause for humanity
progeny of great leaders from God
in God our trust, hope and integrity

Gye Nyame! With God forward ever
with great faith, and hope we believe
Sankofa we are but backwards never
from God's throne our drive receive.
