THE PURPOSE ACCOMPLISHED

I looked on the cross when sin ravished
Me till the last syllabus of the day was finished
And i heard a voice saying it is finished
Hence i had everlasting joy that never finished
All my sins and weighty burdens vanished,
I enjoyed salvation that never finished,
As my sins were totally abolished.

The joy was like living in a room well furnished,
And i lived not with my spirit impoverished,
Not like the days that i lived rubbished,
And all i had lost was replenished,
Hence i offered praise for the purpose accomplished.
