Where do I go from here?
When all around me, toothless trees trembles
when merciless mad machines make mountains mumble
when virgin vegetation violently crumble
when by the opened jaws of equipment nature looks humble?

Where do I go from here?
When draconian drought dances all year
when the forest moan but none hear
when the green is unseen by the telescopic eye of a seer
when athletic antelope runs so the deer.

Where do I go from here?
When helplessness baths us like rain
when the womb of the soil is pickaxed in pain
by the unpatriotic patriots industriously insane
at her anger, will we see Pra, Ankobra and Tano as inhumane?

Where do I go from here?
When my eyes, a satellite from thousand kilometers see no farm
except an erectile chainsaw thrusting a tree with harm
when greedy grandiose Ghanaians ignore the green alarm
when the sharp claws of excavators dig dungeon like dams.

Where do I go from here?
When all my birth place is under lease
when in the market of illegality we sold our peace
when I know not when the rape of the land will cease
when the green in our flag is decolored by the Chinese.
