I wish I have a voice
I wish I have a voice
To speak out against the cruel choice
Of teachers who beat and shame
Leaving young hearts in pain
In our schools, I see
The oppressive ways that decree
Children must suffer, toil and fear
Our education system, I hold dear
But students are just numbers
Their potential left to slumber
Teachers who don't care to inspire
Leaving young minds to expire
I wish I have a voice
To challenge the unjust choice
Of outdated methods that stifle
Creativity and critical thinking, in denial
The rigid rules and rigid discipline
Make education feel like a sin
Forcing children to conform
Leaving their spirits forlorn
I wish I have a voice
To demand change, to rejoice
In a system that values each child
And let their unique talents run wild
But for now, I'll observe and seethe
As the system continues to deceive
I'll hold on to hope and dream
That one day, our voices will gleam
