Ramadan Read
Day Four

Dear Lord,
without any aspersions,
You’re worthy of all praises.

The Being who knows our well-being
The Deity without any scintilla of dirt
The Source of all knowledge

Happenings are lately scary
Strange is no more a stranger
Families are keeping a distance

Calamities in excess
Victory reversing to recession
And the enemies seem winning

Scare our fears away
Touch the souls of the sick
Grant the dead eternal bliss

We believe in You
You listen to the suppliant
O Lord, heal the world now.
